| David Tiller, B.S., Associate Consultant/Field Biologist, serves as a field biologist
on many of the firm's ecological research and assessment projects. His expertise includes
wetland identification, classification, and evaluation; wildlife habitat inventory;
systematic surveys of birds and mammals; and environmental site assessments. Mr. Tiller
has over 20 years of wide geographic experience in field identification of birds and
serves as a key field ornithologist for many of the firm's projects. He is a current
member of the Wisconsin Society for Ornithology. An expert in recognizing mammal tracks
and signs, Mr. Tiller frequently conducts mammal censuses as part of our ecological
assessments. For FERC water quality studies, he services remotely deployed devices
measuring temperature, pH, and dissolved oxygen. Before joining White Water Associates,
Mr. Tiller performed a variety of biological field surveys in the Great Lakes region for
Ecological Research Services, Inc. His continued formal training has included an intensive
field course in delineation of jurisdictional wetlands sponsored by Michigan State
University with cooperation by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. |
