WHAT’S IN YOUR WATER?
Most private wells provide a clean and safe supply of water. However,
contaminants can pollute private wells. Unfortunately, you cannot
see, smell or taste most of them.
Testing your well will give a good overall picture of current water
quality, indicating if there are possible problems. This will provide a
baseline for comparing future testing. Only a certified laboratory can
determine if the water is free of harmful contamination.
Drinking Water Test Kits
•
Kit pricing includes shipment of sample bottles, insulated
container, ice bottle (required for all but Coliform-only test kit)
and sampling instructions to your home.
•
You arrange for return shipping or drop off package at our lab
within required holding times and on ice (see included
instructions).
•
All shipped samples should be delivered here overnight, shipped
the same day as sampling for receipt within 24 hours of sampling.
In the Upper Peninsula that can be achieved via USPS Priority mail
service; in other parts of the country that requires FedEx or UPS
priority overnight service.

Note: FedEx & UPS deliver to the lab in the late afternoon,
sample accordingly, after 2:00 PM. Ship the SAME day.
