TEST KITS
WHAT’S IN YOUR WATER?
Most private wells provide a clean and safe supply of water. However,
contaminants can pollute private wells. Unfortunately, you cannot see,
smell or taste most of them.
Testing your well will give a good overall picture of current water quality,
indicating if there are possible problems. This will provide a baseline for
comparing future testing. Only a certified laboratory can determine if the
water is free of harmful contamination.
Drinking Water Test Kits
•
Kit pricing includes shipment of sample bottles, insulated container,
ice bottle (required for all but Coliform-only test kit) and sampling
instructions to your home.
•
You arrange for return shipping or drop off package at our lab within
required holding times and on ice (see included instructions).
•
Test Kit pricing includes the cost of shipping the kit to you. To return
your kit to White Water please use one of the following options:
o
Use the FREE White Water Associates courier service: We pick up
samples in Baraga, Delta, Gogebic, Houghton, Marquette,
Menominee, Ontonagon and Schoolcraft counties weekly. See our
courier service schedule on our homepage.
o
Deliver your sample to the laboratory Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM-
4:00 PM Central Standard Time or Friday 8:00 AM-3:00 PM CST.
o
Check with FedEx or UPS about overnight service.
